Awake each morning to a breath-taking view of majestic Whiteface Mountain (site of the 1980 Winter Olympics). We'll provide you with deluxe accommodations in a cozy, quiet, rustic setting deep in the heart of the Adirondacks. On a clear night, the stars seem so close you'll swear you can touch them.
The Ledge Rock is nestled on a hill directly across from Whiteface Mountain Ski Center, only a few scenic miles from the Bobsled Run, Ski Jumping Complex, Ice Skating Arena and Lake Placid. Be part of the excitement at the many sporting events and activities that have earned us the reputation as "The Winter Sports Capital of The World"
After a full day of winter activities, relax by a warm fire in our Adirondack Great Room and enjoy some goodies from our hospitality table complete with cookies, coffees, cocoa, hot cider, an assortment of teas and nightly dessert (October to March).
Come Spring, try your hand at some of the best trout fishing in the East in the sparkling waters of the nearby AuSable River. Our new trout stocking and Catch and Release Programs will guarantee your fishing trip is a memorable one. We'll freeze your fish or you can cook them on one of our grills. In the evening, many anglers gather at our B.Y.O.B. bar and compare Fish Tales. Guide services and fishing packages are available.
As the sun grows stronger, and green returns to our mountains, so do the golfers. There are three spectacular golf courses within a 15 minute drive. Summer brings families relaxing and playing together. Our pool is perfect place to cool off after a busy day of swimming, canoeing, water skiing, horseback rides, mountain biking, gondola rides, hiking, and or sightseeing. Marvel at the serenity and beauty of our mountain setting while you relax in one of our Adirondack Chairs. Better stay a couple of extra days so you don't miss anything.
Leaf peepers are astounded by the spectacular foliage surrounding our tiny mountain village in the fall. It's a photographers paradise and time to visit the shops, walk in the woods, enjoy romantic dinners and snuggle by the fire. Time to rest up and get ready for SKI SEASON!!!
