As an expert ‘teaching guide’, George is 30+ year veteran of the Salmon River who prides himself on sharing knowledge with novice and experienced fishermen alike. Spend a day with George and you will not only have a great time on the river; you will learn techniques for fly fishing and ultra-lite spin fishing, building your skills and confidence on the river to help you land that trophy salmon, Steelhead, or brown trout.
Trophy Angler guided fishing trips are 6-7 hours in length, and include rods, reels, and tackle. In Steelhead season, George provides Coffee/HotChocolate made aboard the boat!
Situated on the Eastern shore of Lake Ontario, the Salmon River enjoys tremendous fall runs of Chinook and Coho salmon followed by the fall migration of Brown Trout and Trophy Steelhead. With weights ranging from 10-15 for Steelhead and trout, up to 35+ lbs for the Coho and Chinook, these trophy fish will provide you with the fight of a lifetime!
