The hills around Granville, PEI Canada are filled with spring-fed streams. This fabulous natural destination is easy to call home. If it's deep sea fishing you're after, from tasty mackerel to the high energy excitement of sharks and tuna, Prince Edward Island waters are teeming with fish. Our many charter captains will supply the boats, gear, bait and know-how, and all you have to bring along is the willingness to have a whole lot of fun.

For the fresh water angler or inland fishing enthusiasts, there are more than 800 artificial ponds, many originally constructed as mill ponds.  Please see the location of the 9 official ponds in the map below. The Granville River and Henry’s Pond, noted trout streams, are right next door.  The fabulous Trout River is less than 2km away – and this is just a start - there are many more for you to discover. The streams themselves are short and spring fed; most originating from springs that discharge 7 C water in summer and winter. As a result, streams on Prince Edward Island are less dependent upon surface runoff and maintain good flows, even in summer. There may be a limited number of sport fish species on Prince Edward Island, but don't let that fool you. Recreational fishing on Prince Edward Island, both in freshwater and saltwater, is one of the best kept secrets in the angling world.
