At the age of 12, I first cast a fly into the rivers of Hawkes Bay. Now, 35 years later, I am still fishing those same rivers and delight in sharing my experiences with visiting anglers. My professional guiding began in 1986 and I have been a member of the NZ Professional Fishing Guides Association for the last decade. Working 3 seasons in Alaska and guiding guests of Poronui Lodge and Tongariro Lodge have added to my experience. I was Jim Teeny's guide when he produced his video "Fly Fishing for Salmon"
Locally, I have featured in the NZ program "Gone Fishing", appeared on "Magic Streams Down-under"... a 12 series video on fly fishing in NZ, and was one of the invited authors in the NZ publication " Masters on Flyfishing"
