When Graeme & the ‘Gone Fishing TV crew’ come north it is always great fun. However the challenge of catching fish for people from all around the world is equally as exciting. I look forward to showing you some great New Zealand fishing, please call me for any questions.
FAST, SAFE & NOT TOO BIG!
Good reliable fishing requires speed, flexibility, a big live bait tank, but not too big a vessel. Kingfish, big snapper are often caught up close to the rocks. Bucko has chosen a specialist boat for this reason!
CONDITIONS
- all departures are subject to numbers, sea & weather conditions
- clean on-board toilet
- small personal groups - we have fun!
- all rods, tackle, bait etc supplied free
- fresh fish for dinner almost guaranteed
- beginners, children: we cater for all experience levels

Choosing the right skipper & vessel is always the key to a successful fishing expedition. When filming the beautiful Bay of Islands we regularly fish with ‘Captain Bucko’, he has 25yrs of tourism and commercial fishing experience, is a great host & is passionate about pleasing his customers.
