The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is home to one of the largest concentrations of blue ribbon trout streams in the world and Lone Mountain Ranch is the ideal location to experience it all. You can explore the wilderness of Yellowstone National Park, escape to a high mountain lake or stream in the Lee Metcalf Wilderness via horseback, travel to private spring creeks, search for “gulpers”on Hebgen Lake. Plus fish any one of theese four blue-ribbon rivers: the Gallatin, Madison, Yellowstone and Missouri. Your guide will recommend the best waters based on the latest reports and conditions.
Your fly fishing trip will be tailored specifically based on your interests and skill level. Lone Mountain Ranch has a full time guide staff consisting of John Hall, Rick Reed, Kurt Dehmer, and John McKinnie. Independent contracted guides are also utilized to round out our guiding team. All of the guides at the Ranch are dedicated to teaching our guests all aspects of the sport of fly fishing, whether novices or experienced anglers.
