LC Ranch Location

Our ranch is located at the base of the High Uintah Wilderness area, near Altamont, Utah a little over 2 hour drive from Salt Lake City. We are just a 30 minute drive to Rock Creek or the Moon Lake access area’s in the Uinta Mountains. The High Uintah Wilderness area has over 500 lakes and more than 460,000 acres. The Uintah Mountains are the largest mountains running east to west in the Western Hemisphere. We are very conveniently located to Vernal, Utah only about 90 minutes away and only 30 minutes from Roosevelt.

The Original, Established Private Utah Fly Fishing Resort

Tucked away in a remote corner of Utah there lies a fly fishing recreation resort where the beauty of nature entices us with her pleasures. L.C. Ranch is located just 2 1/2 hours east of Salt Lake City at the base of the Ashley National Forest in the Uintah Mountain range. Our lakes and ponds are spread over 1400 acres ideal for guided fly fishing trips. The stillwater habitat is nearly perfect. Under a strict policy of catch and release fly fishing, it is well managed, quiet and unpressured, perfect for the growth of large trophy trout. With an average length of 17 inches and the chance at a trophy like the one pictured above weighing over 15 pounds, it is a fly fisher’s dream world! The LC Ranch in northeastern Utah is an Elk Hunters paradise. We offer a high fence elk hunt on our 1400 acre ranch (700 high fenced acres). We have been featured on several hunting and outdoor shows on Versus, ESPN2 and more.

We can offer fully guided Utah trophy bull elk hunts! You will be able to hunt bulls on our private ranch with the weapon of your choice, talk about the elk hunting trip of a lifetime! You will be able to see, stalk and hunt bulls that will make your blood boil

This is not rustic camping. At the lc ranch we offer full accommodations on site in luxury cabins with all of the amenities. You will also have an experienced guide to help you take the most majestic animal in north america.
