EAGLE LAKE ONTARIO FISHING AT ITS FINEST

Fishing comes first on the agenda and Eagle Lake fishing is tops. Imagine fishing for trophy Walleyes, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout and the infamous, elusive Muskie. Eagle Lake held the Ontario record Muskie of 61 lbs, 9ozs until recently! Many experts believe that it could also produce the next world record.

Because of the location most guests fish within 5-10 minutes of the main lodge. Guiding services are available to show you around the many "hot spots" on the lake or venture out on your own. Even the novice fisherman will have no problem catching enough walleye for a mouth watering shore lunch or two.

Please purchase a fishing license once you arrive in Ontario from a licensed distributor.

Eagle Lake Island Lodge offers a variety of fall hunting options for Moose, Black Bear (fall), Whitetail Deer and wolf hunts.

Moose Hunting

Eagle Lake Island Lodge has 1 bull moose tag. This tag can be transferred to 1 hunter for the season. However, it is legal to party hunt for moose and ELIL will allow up to a group of 6 for a moose party hunt.

Archery Season:

• Your group may choose to hunt either the last week of Sept or the first week of October (Subject to availability).
• One bull tag issued per group.

Rifle Season:

• Hunting season opens the second week of October, annually.
