Our Ontario Wilderness Houseboat base is located at Gill's Morson Marina on Hanson Bay on pristine Lake of the Woods. Established as a family business in 1985, we have the experience to give you the best advice on everything needed to make your stay the perfect getaway. Customer service is our highest priority, and management and staff are only a email or phone call away.

You can purchase fishing licences and equipment, bait, souvenirs, and last minute items on-site at the Marina. Located only 35 miles from the US border, you're just a short drive away from grocery and liquor stores, but still completely secluded from all the noise and hustle of city life. 

Once you arrive you will be met by your hosts and our friendly, courteous staff. We'll help you load up, get you aquainted with the equipment on board, and be sure you're comfortable before sending you off on the vacation of a lifetime. If you're a first time renter, we will ride along with you to your first stop and help you get tied up for the night. A marine band radio keeps you in touch with our base station should you encounter any problems, and in touch with local weather. We will spend time with you studying the detailed lake chart; suggesting celebrated fishing spots, and instructing you on how to best secure your craft for the night. With all the nearby protected bays and islands, there are plenty of calm waters and excellent places to tie up for a day or two. 

Once you have completed the orientation, you're the Captain! Cruise Lake of the Woods at your own pace, stopping whenever you want!
