Adventures and Outdoor Activities In and Around Timber Edge Camps
There's more than just fishing and hunting at Timber Edge Camps. Families will find plenty of fun things to do. We have our own clean safe beach located in a quiet sheltered bay within full view of the camp. Right beside the water's edge is a well-equipped playground for the children. This bay is also a perfect place to teach youngsters how to safely operate a boat as there is no other traffic here.
Maybe a cruise in the paddle boat or a few shots through the basketball hoop will appeal to you. You may want to just go out in the boat without a fishing rod to look for wildlife and enjoy the scenic wilderness surroundings. We have kayak and canoe rentals. Hiking, berry picking, rock hounding and photography are more choices yet!
You won't need to leave camp unless you want. Our store carries staple groceries, bait, tackle, ice and T-shirts. If you want something from town, we will gladly pick it up for you. Only 12 miles fromTimber Edge is Sioux Lookout which boasts a movie theater, museum, library, golf course, shopping, banking, hospital, horseback riding, and a historical Native "mountain".
