Fisher of Men Outfitters is focused on helping you with your fundamentals of fly casting and fly fishing. While we love putting you on great fish, we really want to help you take the next step with your fly fishing. We want to give you an experience that will help you have a better day the next time you get out on the water on your own.
Fisher of Men Outfitters has YOU in mind. There is a lot to learn just to become an efficient fly caster. There is even more to learn to put fish on your line and then in your hand. At the end of the day, if you have walked away a better fly fisherman with some great memories, it has been a fantastic day!
What can you expect from a guided trip with Fisher of Men Outfitters?
We always start with tuning any casting issues, so that we can get an offering where it needs to be. The rest of the day we will focus on the fundamentals of presentation. The old adage "Presentation Presentation Presentation" is true. You have to put offerings where fish live to catch them. Once we are doing well with casting, drifts, and presentation, we can work on alternative techniques as well.
We always inquire about your expectations for the day. If you have all of that stuff down and want to work on a specific issue while we fish, that's exactly what we will do. If you are in northeast Ohio or northwest PA for the holidays or a business trip and just want to get on the water where the fish are...we can make that happen too!
