The Fishing Experience

Fish out of a comfortable 18ft Lund Explorer with quiet 4 stroke 90hp Honda.

Lakes: Most Hayward Area Lakes including Nelson Lake, Chippewa Flowage, & Round Lake.

Specializing in Walleye: I fish several lakes in the Hayward Area. I have had great success on Dark Water Lakes as well as Clear Lakes. Fishing techniques depend on lake & time of year. Specializing on the Chippewa Flowage, Nelson Lake and Big Round.

The Hayward Area Lakes are benefiting from extensive stocking and providing good numbers and trophy fish. It's not uncommon to finish a day with a nice limit of walleye ready for the frying pan.

Musky:  Hayward is blessed with several great musky lakes. We can fish a numbers lakes or a trophy lake.

Crappie:  Nelson Lake & The Chippewa Flowage.  Year round action from shallow water spring fishing to crib & migration spots in the fall.  I also do well on big bluegills on these lakes.

Small Mouth Bass: Chippewa Flowage, Round Lake and someother smaller lakes. These are numbers lakes and trophy lakes.Hayward Area Lakes have some great trophy smallmouth fishing.

Northern & Large Mouth Bass:  Several small lakes with numbers & trophy potential.

Ice Fishing: Hayward Area Lakes, Walleye, Pan fish and Northerns. Tip up Walleye and Northern Fishing - Please Call for Rates!

Hunting Wisconsin Black Bear

My Bear Hunt takes place on mostly private land over baited stands in zones D & A. I allow a limited number of hunters to assure a quality hunt. Bear baiting requires a lot of work over a 3-month period. I place all my baits out in June. By doing this I not only get a jump on the baiting, but I attract the boars that are out looking for sows since June is their mating period. This allows for multiple bears at each site. By putting my baits out earlier than most guides hunters, I can get the bear in a good routine and assure a hot bait for my clients. I work hard to provide a successful quality hunt. I am an avid hunter myself, so I realize how important getting a permit is and work hard to make the most out of each hunt for my clients. I also have spare baits for unforeseen circumstances. I have some of the best black bear habitat in Northwest Wisconsin all on private land settings in A and D zones. Gun or bow, my rates include baiting, stand placement, tracking, and getting your bear out of the woods and into a cooler.
