We here at the Hole In The Wall Ranch want to welcome you to one of Montana's most exciting and relaxing get-a-ways in the great Northwest, nestled in the remote picturesque Bitterroot Mountains. These mountains have given us the opportunity to show you the unspoiled outdoors. We are able to take you into the proposed Great Burn Wilderness for a beautiful ride on horseback you won't soon forget as well as great fly fishing with Fish Creek running through the Ranch. In the mid 1800's outlaws used thisarea as their hideout. There were 2 rock ledges that ran down to the creek to form a wall that the outlaws referred to as, like riding thru a HOLE IN THE WALL. The outlaws used this area for nearly 20 years, robbing cattlemen, stages, and travelers on their way west.
