Derived from the Herero language, it means ‘Space and Freedom’  Namibia is a vast country with a population of just 2 million which makes it the least densely populated country in Africa.

Its beauty lies in its landscape, the diversity of its flora and fauna and in its many areas of interest.

The oldest desert, the largest meteor crater and the highest sand dunes in the world.

The climate in Namibia is excellent, with hot summers and warm winters. The rainy season occurs during the summer months between October and March. Winters in Namibia are mild with warm days and cool mornings and evenings.

The official language of Namibia is English, followed by Afrikaans and German.

Our accommodation is tastefully African, with guests staying in spacious rondawels. Meals and other activities are centred around the ‘Lapa’, a traditional African thatched gathering place. Other amenities include a braai area, bar and dipping pool.

At the end of each day, it is traditional to enjoy ‘sundowners’, while the sunsets over the African bush. Once the sun has set, the bush comes alive with the sounds of all the nocturnal creatures, while you recount your adventure with your family and friends, while dinner is served.
