The Cotes-d’Amor could hardly be better suited to bass – the coastline here is dotted with islands, rocky outcrops, headlands and shallow cuts that provide the perfect mix for both boat-fishing and casting from the shore.
Franck’s high-speed RIB is the perfect vessel for navigating the waters, from Lézardrieux out to the Brehat Islands. Soft plastics, minnows, and surface baits all score well with the bass round here (which grow to pretty decent sizes) – Franck can advise on what to use depending on conditions.
Season runs from March to November.
