This stunning country lodge and wedding venue, which has become one of the leading midlands wedding venues in KwaZulu Natal, was acquired by the Blackburns in 2007.
Debbie and Richard fell in love with Cranford the moment they set their eyes on it some years ago. As if fated they eventually purchased the place of their dreams and moved in at the beginning of April 2007. They started immediately to restore Cranford to its former glory and now, with a great deal of TLC, this magical, peaceful place in the heart of the Midlands is looking fantastic.
Richard had been serving as an officer in the Royal Horse Artillery and Debbie, a trained Cordon Bleu Chef, had run her own catering company. They pursued their interest and expertise in the hospitality industry managing a corporate lodge for many years and eventually owning their own Guesthouse in Hilton.
