Limpopo River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Limpopo River in the Tuli Block providing the perfect retreat for nature lovers. Conveniently located only 12 kilometers from the friendly and infrequently used Platjan border post. And a quick 5 hour drive from Johannesburg or Gaborone. This vast rolling unspoiled land boasts over 80 exquisite Baobab trees in and amongst scattered koppies, thick Mopane bush and a variety of indigenous trees.
The ideal setting to lose yourself in nature’s peace and tranquility.
Extensive game roams the farm including antelope, elephant, leopard, cheetah, hippo and crocodile along with a variety of other species.
The birdlife is abundant and sightings of the Pels Fishing Owl mean plenty excitement for birders.
Although there are no resident lion prides they regularly move on and off the farm.
