Fishing in Lombok Island Between Bali and Lombok has so many fishes. Local traditional fishermen of Bali and Lombok still using very simple equipment with small outrigger traditionally wooden boat (Prahu or Sampan) with sail, though a few professionals and Experts have good branded equipment.& We also can arrange you to do your fishing trip with Speed Boat and do fishing around south of Lombok or at the cannel between Bali and Lombok Strait near Nusa Penida Islands.

Very good spots for fishing in Lombok Island are: The south west of Lombok ahead towards Bangko-bangko (Desert Point), opposite Nusa Penida (Bali) recommended as one of the best for trolling and deep fishing, while places in the North West of Lombok, a little far out behind the Gili Islands as known by locals as takat (sea wall) good for both trolling and deep fishing & can either hire your own out rigger fishing boat/Speed Boat or join the fisherman at the sea and fishing with them, We are flexible with your own itinerary idea and just email us what you like to do. With our pleasure, we can assist you to make you fishing holidays as fun as possible, If you catch, you can either bring it home or release it to the sea Fishing charter using traditional outrigger motorized boat available for half day or full day use. Mostly, the fishing trip does not includes equipment, even so, they might provide simple type of fishing equipment which local's use to it, but guests might not. If you have your own, we suggest you to bring them. Type of fishing available are: trolling & deep fishing ( bottom fishing ).

Lombok Fishing Tour & Travel can arrange half day or full day fishing trip at reasonable rates. Please keep in mind that you are using traditional motorized outrigger boat, that's mean there will be no toilet, nor cabin, but the fishing itself should be fun because Lombok has a lot of fishes. Being an island on the Java trench, with the “drop off ” only kilometers from the beach, makes this a prime location for fishing and free diving/spear fishing.

Large schools of fish feed and breed around the unspoiled reefs. During different times at the year commonly caught fish are: giant travelly, and many other travelly species, Spanish mackerel, marlin, sailfish, tuna, wahoo, Mahi Mahi and numerous reef fish.
Manta rays, whales and dolphins are not a rare sight as is not a barracuda launching itself to the skies.
