From the age of 10, when my grandfather and father took me out fishing on party boats, I have been hooked on fishing. At the age of 16, when my father saved up enough money to buy a 16 foot runabout, I was hooked on fishing from my own boat. I bought my first boat in 1984 and have owned boats ever since.
I am a USCG Licensed Captain. I obtained my license in 2004. Why? It seemed to me that I was always bringing friends and family out fishing, and I got a sense of elation watching others bring fish up to the boat. With this in mind I decided to begin chartering to share my experience and help fellow fisherman catch fish.
When it comes to saltwater fishing, my preference is to fish for Fluke. Whether in the bay, off the beach or on wrecks and reefs, I search for the elusive doormat. You can view a few of the doormats caught in the gallery. My second preference is to go trolling. I have caught all of the following species: STRIPERS, Bluefish, False Albacore, Bonito, Dolphin (mahi-mahi), and even the occasional Schoolie Bluefin Tuna, all within 20 miles of the shoreline. If you prefer to go for Sea Bass, we can go out to wrecks or reefs and do some sea bassin. May even catch some fluke mixed in.
So, if you want to catch fish, I am experienced in fishing for the species I listed. Come join me and I will do my best to put you on the fish for a memorable and enjoyable day of fishing.
