Owner and operator of Reel Chance Fishing Charters, Capt. Rick Percy, welcomes you to beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina. Also known as the Low Country, these vast wetlands offer breathtaking vistas of a unique saltwater ecosystem. As you might expect, the area supports a tremendous amount of marine life. Accordingly, Capt. Rick has been developing the abundant sport fishing opportunities near Beaufort for over 20 years.
In the preceding decades, Capt. Rick has accumulated a great deal of experience and local knowledge while traversing the Low Country’s many creeks, rivers, and sounds - from Edisto Beach to Hilton Head, and the sandbars and near shore wrecks. His familiarity of the local waters makes Capt. Rick the top choice for fishing the magnificent Low Country.
Topping the list of local light tackle fishing targets are: speckled trout, redfish, spanish mackerel, tarpon, cobia, king mackerel. Nearshore wrecks provide additional opportunities for: black drum, flounder and spadefish. Sharks - including blacktip, bonnetheads and hammerheads - are also plentiful at certain times of the year.
Beaufort is centrally located in-between Port Royal Sound and Saint Helena Sound - with Hilton Head immediately to our south and Charleston less than 50 miles to our north.
