Welcome aboard! Join Captain Marty for a half or full day of fishing on the largest lake in the world. Happy Hooker IV is located in historic Canal Park in downtown Duluth, Minnesota within walking distance of major hotels, fine dining, and quaint shops.  Your charter starts by passing under the famous Ariel Lift Bridge and out through the Duluth ship canal were you can wave back to the tourists lining the piers. You’ll pass by huge Great Lakes freighters and ocean ships from all over the world!

You will be fishing for Lake Trout, Chinook Salmon, and Coho Salmon. Brown Trout, Rainbow (Steelhead) Trout, and Walleye are also a possibility.

You will always be treated with respect. You work hard for your money and we do our best to make sure you have an excellent experience. Weather is always a factor in determining our fishing fate.  Captain Marty will determine if it’s safe to go if the weather is ever questionable.

Fish in comfort aboard the 32ft. Marinette Sedan with a large main deck cabin with sliding glass doors where you can be out of the weather on those chilly or rainy days and still be near the poles and see the action. Enjoy the fly bridge large enough for 4 people to comfortably sit and have a bird’s eye view, or hang out on the back deck.
