Our Central California River Fishing trips target bass, catfish, crappie, shad, trout, and carp. As the only licensed guide in the upper San Joaquin River, fishing pressure is always at a minimum making it possible to target some lunker fish. Bass fishing is the most popular in the region and many experts believe the next would record largemouth will come from California. Captain Louis has always had a healthy obsession with bass fishing, and is proud to offer San Joaquin River Fishing trips that offer the chance to tangle with a true trophy largemouth or spotted bass. 
 

We fish the San Joaquin River with two different boats that allow us to navigate the river under any water conditions. We provide clients with multi-day packages designed around the needs of groups and families. Some clients might want to spend a day on the river and camp overnight in a quiet wilderness setting. Sometimes dads want to spend the day fishing while moms enjoy the peacefulness of camp and a kayak ride on the San Joaquin River. The bottom line: We want to make you happy. 
 

With a 50-ton captain's license, Captain Louis also offers clients with boats of their own the chance to sit back and relax while he takes the helm, and utilizes his intimate experience of lakes and Pacific Ocean.
