2016 was a great success, we exceeded our fish goals, we had no breakdowns and only one day was canceled due to weather conditions (Sorry Marc). We did not break our season record for fish weighing three figures, we did get some giants, but what we are most proud of was the consistency of fish caught in the 40-100lb range, we more than tripled last year in that category.

2017 is about 90% booked, deposits taken, some of those prime slots still have room for 2-3 pax but the majority of the best tide slots are booked, NOT ALL, STILL A COUPLE 3-4 DAY SLOTS OPEN, we will be marketing the Sportsman shows in Sacramento and Anchorage for those slots, as well as 2018, so don't procrastinate, get your reservation/deposit in to save your slot. We do get cancelations on occasion so please at least enquire to see how we can best place you on the schedule. Remember salmon fishing is not tide dependent like Halibut, and we have lots of room on the bad tide days to chase Salmon.

June and July has a great King Salmon run in Seldovia, fish right in town, a few minutes walk from the B&B,  these are cannery fish, not spawning, and show up as beautiful chrome color in the 15-30lb range, and are easly caught right

in town, with little to no "combat fishing" like the Kenai River. A perfect day in Seldovia, is limit on halibut, return to fish salmon after a deluxe dinner (daylight for 18-20 hours). The King Salmon run is on mid May-mid July.

You can see our daily catches on our facebook page. We catch Ling Cod, Yellow Eye and grey cod on occasion as well, however our target is Halibut. We started fishing Salmon in 2015 and with great results so far.... we did not see the big Coho (Silver) run like last year, but some nice silvers were landed, as well as quite a few nice Kings.
