Reini grew up on the river and has a multitude of professional experience as a guide, instructor, coach, operator and manager in the outdoor industry. Besides fishing he has lead groups on multi-day/week trips in backcountry skiing, ski racing, river rafting, and hunting. His passion and professional experience for backcountry operations date back more than 20 years when working for his father and growing up within the family business. He has also been managing and consulting in the outdoor adventure and sporting goods industry in Europe.

Reini was born in Austria and besides English he also speaks fluently German (native tongue) as well as French. Drawing from his both culturally and athletically international backgrounds  he serves a diverse multi-national clientel. With a passion for teaching, he equally enjoys sharing his experience with his staff and clients. Maturing and growing a company to offer quality guided fishing and outdoor adventure day trip operations in the Interior of Alaska for 12 month of the year is an integral part of his philosophy. His professional guide team leads trips year round while also residing in the Interior. He believes that by guiding and knowing the local waters and backcountry both summer and winter, him and his passionate guides can provide a higher expertise and a better experience for the client. Last but not least with his company he is driven to provide high level guiding in Fairbanks combined with a personable experience, that leads to the realization of the once in a lifetime trip potential of each tour.

Reini also is a graduate of the University of Alaska, holding a Masters Degree in Business Administration, is an alumni of the UAA NCAA Ski Team, an internationally certified ski instructor/guide, and downhill ski racing coach.
