Big Dave's Alaskan Bush Lodge
A spectacular floatplane flight from Anchorage, up the Yentna drainage, just outside of the Denali Park Reserve. Here you will leave the 21st Century behind. Our private river front cabins are located 110 air miles NW of Anchorage overlooking the beautiful Kichatna River.
The lodge sits on the southern end of the Yenlo Mountains. On a clear day, we have spectacular views of the Kichatna Mountains, the Alaska Range, Mt. McKinley, Mt. Foraker, Mt. Russel, and Mt. Dall. Our location is a photographers dream with epic mountain views, bear, moose and the occasional wolf.
Our remote location allows us to fish over a dozen clear water streams loaded with all 5 species of Pacific Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden and Arctic Grayling. You and your friends may want to spend an afternoon targeting monster Northern Pike on Hewitt Lake. The jet boat ride to the lake is an exciting adventure on its own.
