Welcome to "Shady Lady"

an Orange Beach, Alabama Charter vessel docked at Zeke's Landing.

The legendary “Shady Lady” is a custom built sport fishing vessel that year after year is one of the top producing charter boats along the entire Gulf Coast.  Capt. Maurice Fitzsimons and crew of the “Shady Lady” prides itself in trying to make every offshore charter as memorable as possible by providing excellent customer service on a sport fishing boat that is full of extra amenities that include:

• Newly installed highly sensitive Airmar© transducer for extreme deep-water fishing.
• Ride and fish from the bow safely and comfortably due to a Coast Guard approved Bow Rail.

The “Shady Lady” has gained the reputation as one of the top producing offshore charter boats along the Alabama Gulf Coast and Florida Panhandle by landing big catches of big game fish like yellow fin tuna, black fin tuna, wahoo, dolphin, mature amberjack and swordfish. If our charter chooses we will also offer deep-drop fishing while on offshore trips allowing for the opportunity to catch tilefish, yellow edge grouper, warsaw grouper, silk snapper, and more. Our fishing platform allows for more anglers fishing at a time. Shady’s size and fuel capacity allows it to comfortably fish greater distances offshore. This year we look for our catches to further increase as a result of us adding hull mounted underwater lights, which helps draw bait and big game fish around the boat at night.
