Not only is Lakestream a fly shop, we are also a guide service that offers full and half day guided fly fishing trips. Since 1984 we have cultivated a group of hard working guides that care about your day of fishing. If you have never heard of a fly rod, a family that wants to have a fun day on the river or a seasoned pro….. We’ll help you catch fish or help fix that nagging tailing loop.
From our home waters of the Flathead River System all the way east to the Missouri River. Let’s get you out for a fun day on the water.
What should you expect from your day on the water? Your guide will provide all the gear needed for the day, high quality rods, reels, clean fly lines, leaders, tippet and all the flies you could ever need. Trips are based from a drift boat or raft depending on the piece of water you’re fishing. You’ll learn how to cast, mend and most importantly….. Set the hook when a fish eats your fly! Full day trips included a river side lunch that’s usually half way through the day. We’re not serving up beans and wieners for lunch either. From riverside picnic-style lunches for families and groups to vegetarian choices, we have you covered.
