We are proud to welcome Andy Cappotelli as another guide within the Jackson Fly Fishing Family.
Andy is the quintessential dreamer of all things fly-fishing. CPA by day and trout fishing fanatic by night, Andy’s enthusiasm is unrivaled. Between his career and his family, Andy still manages to get out on the water 100 days a year. His passion for fly-fishing has created a love of introducing people to and instructing new anglers in the art of the sport.
He is a true professional when it comes to guiding his clients. While Andy is a professional teacher, he also considers himself a life long learner, which helps to make him one of the easiest going guys you will ever meet. Whether you are an expert or a just beginning, Andy will ensure your day is well spent.
Andy has worked under the tutelage of Brett for the last four years and has fished all of the local streams for trout, lake run browns, steelhead and salmon. He has also fished the Delaware River system and Beaverkill. In addition to the New York streams, he has fished many of the Montana Rivers including the Ruby, Bitterroot, Gallatin and Clark Fork, as well as the Colorado and the fabled Elk River in British Columbia.
“My favorite part of any fly fishing trip is the moment you put on the waders. I get filled with anticipation. I don’t know what will happen and I know anything can happen. It’s exciting.” – Andy Cappotelli
