So-Sy Fly Tie and Guide!

We are a fishing guide service located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Lynchburg is a stone’s throw from a variety of rivers, lakes and mountain streams. Our staff is intimately familiar with local waters and targets the James River, Staunton River, New River, Jackson River and many of our gorgeous mountain streams that surround the region.  The areas in which we guide provide the angler with an opportunity to catch a variety of species, including rainbow trout, brown trout, brook trout, small mouth bass, large mouth bass and stripers. We offer a full range of services including  drift boat trips, wading trips, casting classes and fly tying instruction.  

We have an eclectic assortment of fly fishing items for sale. 

We pride ourselves in creating a first-class outing that will make you and your friends come back again and again. We believe that customers come first and we are here to serve you. Extremely well-priced trips are available 12 months out of the year.  We cater to fishermen of all levels – from beginner to expert.
