Beginner Fly-Fishing Instructional Clinics
Fly-fishing is the best way to experience a classic fishing vacation in West Virginia - you know you've always wanted to learn! Our pros will instruct you in the proper equipment, fly selection and use, and casting - and you'll put your new skills to test on the water in this 1-hour beginner's clinic. This is the perfect group activity to round out your adventure at The Resort at Glade Springs, and we'll customize the instruction to fit your crew perfectly.

Guided Fly-Fishing on Glade Creek
Enjoy a fully guided fishing experience on one of the most beautiful trout streams on the East Coast - Glade Creek. Our private stream is located on the grounds of the resort and is one of southern West Virginia's premiere and unspoiled fly-fishing locales. Meandering south to north through 2 1/2 miles of The Resort at Glade Springs and nestled 150 feet deep inside Glade Creek Gorge, our fishing area in Glade Creek is world class and features deep, long runs, isolated plunge pools, large boulders and quick drops, and abounds with numerous waterfalls and tributary falls. The creek is regularly stocked with Rainbow, Brown and Brook Trout, varying in size from two to twelve pounds, ensuring a rewarding fly-fishing experience.
Fly-Fishing is seasonal and is available as weather and stream levels permit. Available time periods include mid-March through the end of May and late fall.
