Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Wilderness lies a small, but unique little camp called Discovery Lake Lodge, once known as an old railroad town called Zarn. Abandoned by the Railroad back in the early 1900's, Zarn was a little hidden treasure where seven families called it home.
Fast forward to the present day, this old railroad town is now an amazing and secluded four cabin outpost resport expanding hundreds of square miles of uncharted terrain. The Main Camp overlooks Discovery Lake and is home to the two Discovery outpost cabins. Nearby on neighboring lakes that are easily accessible, offers even more northern, walleye, and lake trout fishing. Two of these lakes, Zarn and Dominion, also provide newly built log cabins for your stay.
This sprawling, yet secluded resort is a true sportsman's paradise where you can go fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, ice fishing, or just plain relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world. A week up here will surely cleanse your soul and provide endless memories that will last you a lifetime.
We are all guests of this beautiful land, so odds are you will see some of the local critters that call this land home. Moose, bear, wolf, deer, bald eagles, ruffed grouse, lynx, ducks, loons and much more. So be sure to have that camera ready!
