We are a local fishing and hunting guide service in the New River Gorge Region of Southern West Virginia. Our guides take pride in their work and in sharing the heritage, history and beautiful natural surroundings with which we have been blessed.
I personally have over 15 years of experience as a hunting and fishing guide in the mountains and rivers of West Virginia. My staff and I have been local outdoorsmen for all of our lives and are confident that we can accommodate any level of angler and sportsman from a beginner to a professional.
Hunt Wild Game
With plentiful wildlife and beautiful hunting lands, West Virginia has much to offer hunters, and Free Lance Fishing and Guide Service can help you make the most of it. Our hunting trips take place on open public and private land and the animals we hunt are truly wild, free,and respected creatures.
We DO NOT hunt caged animals. All of our hunts are done with the respect of the West Virginia's hunting regulations and in the spirit of an honest, fair chase. Our hunting guides work long and hard to provide our guests with the best, most successful West Virginia hunting experience.
Big and Small Game
We do not guarantee any of our guests to kill, harvest, or catch an animal, but we promise to provide the best quality guides and experinces for our guests.
We offer hunting trips for a variety of game. Big game includes whitetail deer, and turkey. Small game hunting includes rabbit, squirrel, fox, coyote, pheasant, grouse, geese, and ducks.
Our local guides have many family hunting traditions in the WV mountains, and they would love to share them with you.
Pricing
- Full Day Hunting Trips - $400 per person (lunch included)
- Two-Day Overnight Hunting Trips - $500 per person (2 person minimum) all meals are included
