All of our vacation cottages are fully modern and located on the lakeshore except one.  Usually two cottages share a dock and there are some cottages that have their own dock.  No long walks back and forth to the main dock!  They are all fully modern with kitchens equipped with electric or propane stoves with ovens, dishes, coffee makers, toasters, eating and cooking utensils.  The cottages are equipped with bedding and clean towels are available DAILY.  The cottages are heated by either electric or propane, and the winterized cottages have both.  Our cottages also have fully screened in porches facing the lake.  We have kept one "outhouse" in camp to remind us of the days before running water, but all the of the cottages have showers  or tub/shower combinations.  Two of the cottages have wheelchair access.

Lodge:

The main room of the lodge was built over 60 years ago, and is still being used.  At the lodge you will find both fishing and hunting licenses, tackle, ice, pop, candy, chips, post cards, T-shirts, caps, sandwiches various ice creams, the latest topographical map of the lake and of course, as much fishing information as we can give you!

Fish House:

To take care of your fish or game, we have a "fish house" that is equipped with cleaning tables, wrapping paper, freezer tape, sinks with running water, walk-in cooler, and freezers.

A meat rack is available in the walk-in cooler for hunters to store their game and arrangements can be made to have your game processed at one of the local processing facilities.

Boats and Motors:

We attempt to keep a variety of boats and motors available for our guests and update as often as possible.  We have 18' Deep V bass boats with an interior configuration like the bass boats you see on TV, but a deeper hull to make it safer in the rough water.  The 18' is equipped with a 50 hp 4-stroke with power tilt/trim and console steering.  Boats are fully carpeted with a flat floor, have soft swivel seats, graphs, live wells, rod storage, front casting platforms, bow mounted Minnkota trolling motors, onboard chargers, marker buoys, landing net, minnow bucket and safety gear.

You are also welcome to bring your own boat.  There is a dockage charge for each boat that you bring.  For variety we have paddle boats, canoes and ski/knee board equipment available here at camp.

Guide Service:

Our guide boats are 19' long with complete convertible tops, walk thru windshield, bow casting platform, comfortable swivel seats, graphs, all safety gear, power by a 150 h.p. outboard, with 9.9 outboard for a rear trolling motor and a Minnkota electric motor on the bow.  Our guides are "home grown" and if I won't go fishing with on of them, I won't send my guests with them either.  A real guide is a teacher, and is there to teach you how, where, and when.  Some of our guests use the guide service for a day or two while they are here to learn new areas and then spend the rest of their vacation fishing on their own.  some of our new guests use it to get familiar with the area, local fishing techniques and local hot spots!

The highlight of the day is the "fish fry shore lunch."  The guide will pull into one of the islands, build a fire, fry up some fish, potatoes, vegetables, coffee, and a little dessert.  One of these meals and your hooked for life!  Be sure to bring a camera!

Main Dock:

The main dock is located just below the lodge.  We have unleaded Premium gas (no ethanol) and TWC III Outboard Oil available.

Live bait is available and we have managed to keep our prices well below our competitors.  While they are in season we keep a supply of night crawlers and leeches on hand.  Purchases at the dock are billed direct to your cabin.

Playground and Beach:

For the younger kids there is a new playground set up with swings, slide, playhouse, and lots of sand.  This joins the beach on the west side of the point.   The beach is primarily for the smaller kids, but at times we all use it.
