Northwind Fishing Charters 

The world of fishing isn’t an easy one. It’s a full-time commitment requiring personal sacrifice and a dedication to preparation. Captain Joe began to form his incredible work ethic at a young age, spending time outside school and on the weekends practicing with his dad (and fishing legend around here), Captain Harold Bailey, in pursuit of the ultimate goal: to fish professionally.

Now, he gets to live out his dream of fishing professionally, while sharing his love of being on the water with his clients.

Captain Joe still works full time at his job of 15 years for the Army Corps of Engineers. He likes his job, but loves its flexibility to allow him to fish, even more!

Captain Joe has worked with anglers of all ages and experience levels. In fact, he's taught his wife to fish and now they compete in tournaments together. He also has two young children who both share a love of the water and fishing. So whether you want to go by yourself or bring the family, Captain Joe is sure to make it a great experience for all!

In 2020, the Baileys upgraded their 2005 fishing boat to a 19 foot, 2019 beauty. With a 19 foot Nitro ZV19 powered by a 225 horse power Mercury Pro XS motor and a sparkly fiberglass hull, you'll cruise in style and comfort to your fishing destination.

On board, you'll find captain's seating and all the fishing gear you could dream of. Top of the line rods and reels are stocked for whatever species of fish your targeting.

Speaking of targeting a certain species, Captain Joe has plenty of lures in different shapes, sizes and colors and is proficient in using them all.
