Welcome to North Superior Charters Inc where you can experience Lake Superior & Lake Nipigon fishing, moose hunting and black bear hunting all in the remote Norern Othntario, Canada wilderness. You can also canoe and kayak on Lake Superior, enjoy a family vacation, go hiking or practice your photography skills. As a guest of North Superior Charters Inc you have a choice of two locations to stay and play; Lake Superior & Lake Nipigon Lodge.
Our Captain Darrell Splett will transport you by boat to remote Moss Island, Lake Superior. Our 28ft Stanley boats provide comfort and safety for the 30 mile (1 hour) scenic boat trip. Stay in one of our Lake Superior lodges with all of the comforts of home, relax on the deck and enjoy the peace and quiet. Our Moss Island lodges are located in the National Marine Conservation Area, and are only steps from the water. Lake Superior fishing is always a surprise, with ten different species of fish you never know what will be on the end line. If you tire of fishing, take out a canoe & kayak and explore the nearby islands and look for our geocaches. Hunters can participate in a black bear, moose hunt or moose and black bear fishing combination. Lodge rental packages include the use of 16ft deep draft aluminum boats with new 15hp motors, Canoes, Kayaks and a five person pedal boat. The lodges on Moss Island can accommodate large groups up to 14 people. We offer both fully guided and unguided fishing and hunting trips.
Lake Nipigon Lodge offers a true Canadian wilderness experience. 160 private acres surrounded by Crown land, accessible by vehicle and ATV where you will be the only group for miles. Lake Nipigon fishing offers giant Northern Pike and Walleye as well as Lake Trout and Brook Trout (in season). Or choose to hunt for black bear, moose, wolf and grouse. Guided fishing and black bear hunts are offered, our guides have many years of experience on the "big lake" and the area. Transportation to and from the fishing and hunting spots will be provided but if you would like to bring your own ATV there are miles of ATV trails and roads to hunt and explore. The Lake Nipigon lodge can also be rented for resident moose hunting in wildlife management unit 15B. Be sure to check out the video from the New Fly Fisher who joined us to fish for giant Northern Pike.
Wherever you choose to stay, Lake Superior & Lake Nipigon lodge offers each group a place of their own. Each lodge offers fully equipped kitchens, BBQ's and freezers for your catch. Lake Superior lodge offers hot and cold running water, with showers.
