We are a family run outfitting business specializing in remote wilderness, fair chase hunts. Our permitted area is located both in, and out of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area. Our units 27 and 28 are part of the Salmon Challis National Forest. Our permitted area is approximately 260 square miles of unforgettable backcountry beauty. 

We will provide you with a wilderness experience to match the sheer magnitude of the Frank Church River of No Return. It is a land of clear rivers, deep canyons, and rugged mountains.

The Frank is the largest wilderness in the lower 48, encompassing 2,366,757 acres. It is much the same as when the Sheepeater Indians roamed these canyons and painted pictographs in their hunting caves.

 
Our goal is to provide you with the opportunity to harvest a mature trophy of the species of your choice. We will give you a true wilderness experience in a setting that you will never forget.

Our gentle, well-trained horses and mules will pack you, and your gear, into remote camps that are first class in every way. We hunt out of deluxe tent camps, with cots, foam pads, and woodstoves. We have a shower tent available for you and some of the best food you will ever eat. Our cooks will serve you with home made meals in a friendly western atmosphere.

We access the back country from 2 area ranches. The B-C Ranch is accessible from Salmon or Challis Idaho by Road most of the year. You can also fly into the B-C Ranch using a chartered flight on the ranches private air strip. The Simplot Ranch is a fly in only ranch on the middle Fork of the Salmon River.

This air strip is owned by the State of Idaho. For fly in guests we recommend flying commercial to Boise Idaho. If you are driving then flying into these Ranches Challis Idaho would be your destination to fly out of.

For more details on travel arrangements contact usand we will assist you in making travel arrangements. For late season hunts out of the B-C Ranch 4X4 vehicle is recommended.

The country we hunt is steep, rugged and wild. We will bewalking down trails that are too steep to ride.

This is some of the most remote country left in the lower 48 states. The better physical shape you are in the better you will enjoy your trip.
