We are located appproximately 35 miles from the Central Business District of New Orleans.
From the CBD take the Mississippi River Bridge to the WestBank. Upon coming down from the bridge stay on the left side to enter the elevated WestBank Expressway, Hwy 90 West.
Continue to and exit at the Lafayette Street exit. ( LA 23 ).
Turn LEFT to enter LA 23 at the traffic light.
You are now on LA 23.
Procede approximately 10 miles to the Naval Air Station, New Orleans.
Continue 14.8 miles from the air station to the small community of Myrtle Grove.
Boat sheds on the right side of the Hwy.
Restaurant and bar on the left side of the Hwy.
Procede 6.1 miles further down LA 23 to my house passing a coal plant on the left side of the hwy.
At Louisiana mile marker 43 proceed 1/4 mile and look left
( Mississippi River side of the road ) for my house.
My house is a baige 2 story on the river side of the Hwy.
There is a small levee and pond in front of the house.
A "u-turn" on the Hwy is available just past the house.
