Good Guides and Bad Guides
For those of you who have had bad experiences with guides, fear not. Many guides, feeling pressure to find fish, tend to get stressed when things aren’t going so well, resulting in unacceptable behavior. Sometimes they even yell at their clients for missing a strike or losing a fish. Other times they express their frustration because their clients can’t cast 50 yards to a tennis ball sized rise in the water.
Not so with Brandon and Michael. They’re just plain likable people. They understand that the driftboat experience includes more than just catching fish. It’s also about the quiet solitude, the excitement of seeing a rise off the side of the about, the fresh smell of the cold water, or just learning about how the fish feed under different environments.
