Great Lake Fishing

Bulldog Camps offers fishing for everyone whether you are a first timer or an experienced fisherman, you are sure to catch fish when you come to Bulldog.

We are located on one of the most pristine ponds in the state and have an abundance of native brook trout.

Enchanted Pond is 202 feet deep and offers good trout fishing from just after ice out to the end of September. Whether you like to troll lead core line or cast dry flies you will catch trout during your stay at Bulldog Camps.

Fly Fishing

We have several fly fishing only ponds in the area that offer some of the best fishing in Maine. Fully guided fly fishing trips to these remote ponds is a unique experience for even the avid fisherman.

The late spring, early summer hatches can offer the fisherman a very rewarding day of fishing. The mountains surrounding Bulldog Camps are full of small streams and beaver bogs that are full of native brookies.

Maine Hunting around Enchanted Pond

Bulldog Camps has an exclusive lease on over 50 sq miles surrounding Enchanted Pond in Maine. This allows us to offer hunters the highest quality hunting experience possible. It's just you, us and the wildlife.

Fall Bear Hunt Over Bait

Maine has a lot to offer when it comes to bear hunting. With the Maine bear population being at a record high and steadily climbing, there are great opportunities for the hunter wishing to harvest the elusive black bear. Whether you're a first timer just looking to make a clean kill on a Maine Black Bear. Or a seasoned Veteran, looking for a 500 pound bruiser. The Western Mountains of Maine has what you're looking for. Many hunters come back year after year and can't get enough of Maine bear hunting.

Maine Moose Hunting

Maine has the largest moose population in the United States. We at Bulldog Camps are lucky enough to be in one of the best hunting zones of the entire state of Maine. Zone 8 gives 235 bull only permits for the October season.

If you are fortunate enough to draw a moose permit for this zone, you are in for the hunt of a lifetime. Maine Deer Hunting

The Western Mountains of Maine produce some of the largest whitetail bucks taken annually. Bulldog Camps remote location offers you the luxury of hunting from your cabin door.

Full and semi-guided hunts are available. Hunters who choose a guided deer hunt enjoy the advantage of having their scouting done in advance, and tree stands already in place in productive spots. On unguided deer hunts, we can recommend areas to hunt, but you are on your own for the week while in the woods.

Bird Hunt

We have some of the finest Ruffed Grouse hunting in Maine, and early season also produces large numbers of Woodcock as well. Early fall gives bird hunters the opportunity to get in the woods while the weather remains mild.

The ruffed grouse remains the icon for bird hunting in Northern Maine. The abundance of birds here makes it a great spot to bring your dogs to work, but they are by no means required to have a successful hunt.
