Whether you are looking for an outfitter for your next elk hunt or a trial ride in the mountains you have found the right spot. Elk Camp Outfitters provides high quality big game hunts and horseback trips in the rocky mountains of Colorado.

We pride ourselves in providing our clients the most enjoyable fair chase hunts available. Elk and Mule deer are abundant throughout our hunting areas and over the counter tags are available. We offer guided lodge hunts and deluxe camps where all your meals are provided and prepared. We also offer drop camp hunts for elk and mule deer for the hunter with more experience. Either way you will end up in the heart of the best elk habitat in the west. While most of our hunters are looking for big bull elk we also offer a limited number of cow elk hunts each year at a discounted price.

We offer a variety of trail rides from 2 hr to half day with lunch. We also offer dinner rides which are always a hit with the whole family.

Elk Hunting is our passion and we have a great spot for it. Our hunting permits allow us to hunt almost 350,000 acres of the Grand Mesa National Forest, White River National Forest, BLM and Private Lands. Your journey into the wild west requires sturdy and gentle horses and mules which we provide. While we never guarantee a kill our success rates are high each year. We only provide limited hunts each year which helps to ensure plentiful game in our hunting areas.

Our guides are all well trained seasoned professionals who always seem to

know where the game is. They will attend to your needs and prepare the horses each morning while you enjoy a full breakfast and prepare for the days hunt. After a long day the guides will take care of the heavy lifting and you can relax over a delicious dinner and take a hot shower.
