Cassiar Stone Outfitters is located in the remote northwest corner of beautiful British Columbia. We offer exceptional big game hunts for Stone Sheep, Moose, Mountain Goat, Mountain Caribou, Grizzly, and Wolf. Each year we take a limited number of hunters to maximize success and trophy quality. By only hunting 1/3 of our camps each season you have the opportunity to hunt an almost untouched wilderness.
The season starts off with our horseback guides heading into the mountains weeks before opening day to scout for game and prepare camps. In the early season we focus on stone sheep and aim to harvest only the oldest
rams. Our average ram is over 10 years old and has 38” of horn length. Generally, they have dark capes, and by taking only a few hunters each year, we have kept our success rate very high.
We also offer Mountain Goats in August and early September. These can be hunted separately or in combination with another species. Moving into the fall, we start to hunt for Moose and Caribou, generally as a combination hunt that we have become known for. We boast 100% opportunity on our horseback antlered hunts, with most hunters taking two species.
We also offer boat hunts for trophy moose during the rut. Our shared waterways with Alaska and Yukon territory give us high densities and great genetics. Check out our “Moose” page to learn more.
