In addition to being ORVIS Endorsed, we have also been selected as a charter member of the Beretta Trident Lodge Program. Beretta, a nearly 500 year-old brand, has rarely permitted their name to be used to signify the exceptional quality of another organization. The Beretta Trident Lodge Program is the first of its kind, and requires venues offering bird hunting to undergo a detailed and specific assessment of every area that can impact the guest experience. By being selected for the program and receiving “Tridents” we ensure that the shooting sportsman may have absolute confidence that we are among the very best and complete field sports experiences available.

On May 20th, 2010 Mr. Ugo Beretta, President and CEO Beretta SpA, flew to the New York Beretta Gallery for an exclusive invitation only event to introduce the first wingshooting lodges and charter members of the Beretta Trident Program. Highland Hills Ranch was selected as one of four lodges worldwide to be selected to the Beretta Trident Program. To put this achievement in perspective, Beretta has never endorsed lodges in their 500 year history. The program is similar to the Michelin Star rating system used by the restaurant industry. Any lodge bearing the Trident mark is a top quality operation and a worthy sporting destination. The Trident mark is earned, not purchased. In addition, HHR is the only member selected to the Beretta Trident Program and to have previously been awarded Orvis Wingshooting Lodge of the Year.
