Hunting

Hunts are all inclusive for your full safety and enjoyment. The Rockin P owns 885 acres and we have the permission to use the adjacent 1500 acres from the Thomas Family Trust. Packages include cabin and meals. Clean comfortable cabins are here on site and we leave for our adventures right from your front porch.

Meals

All meals are provided and home cooked to your liking. Breakfast is hot country cooked fare, not some buffet style prepackaged grub.
Lunches are usually soup and sandwiches depending on where you are in the lodge or in the field. Dinners are cooked and served family style and we can accommodate special diets with advanced notice.

We have a full line of equipment to get you to your hunting spots: 2012 Polaris 800 Crew, 2010 Argo 750efi Avenger, several ATVs and Snow sleds if needed. There is excellent cell phone coverage all over our hunting acreage, and we also have 2-way Midland handheld radios for communication needs.

Side Activities

A lot of hunts are specific to time of day, and sometimes after several long days we will provide opportunities for other activities. One activity during bear season is a little fishing on the Sebec River, Sebec Lake or Schoodic Lake. We have a 24’ Sweetwater Premium Pontoon Boat set up for fishing, with captain’s chairs in the corners, live wells for bait and plenty of room for safe comfortable fishing. We also have a 16′ deep “V” Lund for the big rivers and small lakes or ponds.

Also depending on the season and time of the year, we can spend some time on the rifle or pistol range or maybe throw a few clay birds.

Fishing

Fishing trips at the Rockin P are also full service adventures. They cover your cabins and meals and have all of the same comforts as the hunts. The fishing trips are tailored to your likes and abilities. We can get you out on the lakes for some great days of trolling for some huge Freshwater Salmon and Lake Trout in all of Maine.

If your preference is to toss a line out for some brookies or browns, flip a fly line I have a great guide for you; to get you out and on the fish. We can get you out on the bigger pontoon or for a more personal experience we can hit some of the smaller ponds in a canoe. Again the trip is what you want and we can make it happen. Because of the rising cost of fuel, there may be a fuel surcharge associated with your trip. Ask for details as it always is tailored to your trip.
