The Ranch has approximately 1300 acres of land managed exclusively for waterfowl hunting. We are not farmers who are simply looking for extra income. This land is dedicated to the way waterfowl hunting should be. Ducks Unlimited (DU) helped us design the ponds on this property to ensure that there is plentiful natural food to guarantee the ducks and geese will be there for hunters. The pit blinds are designed to give you the best cover to camouflage you from the ducks. We have water even in years where no one else can which means more birds. Our Ranch is located on the Garwood Prairie, west of Eagle Lake, TX. The Garwood Prairie has the second highest regional seasonal harvests of waterfowl in Texas. Average season harvest for the Ranch is approximately 8,500 duck and geese, in a good year that number has exceeded 11,000 birds. For those of you who like statistics that averages to a daily bag take of 4.5 birds per hunter, per hunt. This is the best and easiest hunting on the Texas Gulf Coast. If you can shoot, limits are a sure thing!
