Hawkeye Hunting Club was first opened in 1955 by Jerry Waters outside of Center, Texas. Starting with just a small wooden structure and giving local shelter dogs a renewed purpose in life as hunting companions, Jerry embarked on his dream of establishing the most memorable and exciting hunting and fishing retreat in the world. He and his family ran Hawkeye for sixty years; 2015 brought new ownership by a family equally intent on having the premier bird hunting club in the land.
Located in East Texas between Dallas, Houston, and Shreveport, the Club lands are an impressive combination of lakes, flora and fauna. Slightly rolling hills with towering pine trees are professionally thinned for upland bird hunting along with woods providing excellent cover for white tail deer and wild hog hunting.
We welcome the opportunity to host your group, no matter the occasion or the season. Our multiple conference rooms and lodges provide a private locale for workshops, retreats, reunions, private parties, team building or business meetings.
