Rancho Venado Grande has been developed to achieve THE superior South Texas hunting experience for our hunters, friends, and guests. The ranch is located near the intersection of four of the best whitetail hunting counties in Texas: Duval, McMullen, Webb, and LaSalle counties. The ranch is accessed off of Hwy 44 out of Freer, Texas, and is located 13 miles north on County Road 401.
Our goal is to provide large numbers of high quality Whitetail deer in a fair chase environment, with an emphasis on the quality of the total hunting experience. Our trophy and management hunts are not canned hunts. Our deer, although enclosed in a high fenced area will require perseverance, hunting skill, and a little luck to harvest. Our hunters also have the option of hunting for free ranging whitetails along the 2.25 miles of Nueces River bottom which is located outside of the ranch high fence and has some 160-180 inch deer roaming in it.
