Gently rolling forests of Longleaf Pine over Wiregrass are managed specifically for our world class Bob White Quail hunting.

In the grand tradition enjoyed by generations of friends and family, fathers and sons, and even daughters, Samara provides a truly timeless experience.

Pointers and setters are from the finest stock and champion blood lines.  Choose to hunt from specially modified jeeps, a custom built wagon, or horseback.  The lodge was designed for guests in an eloquent but rustic style.  The large, comfortable rooms are centrally heated and air-conditioned, each with a private bath.  On cold days you will also find a roaring fire to greet you when you return for lunch or dinner.   Three Southern home cooked meals are served “home style” in the dining room on custom-made tables of heart-pine. Relax and visit on the front porch, the spacious deck or our gazebo overlooking the skeet range.  Each fully equipped with rocking chairs.

Samara is not only the perfect place to make new memories but will likely rekindle old favorite ones which may have been locked away for years.  Inviting smells from the kitchen, cold crisp mornings in the field, a pair of dogs on point, and countless stories of past hunts all help to create an experience you will treasure for a lifetime.
