Mad River's hunting season begins October 1st through March 31st. We have three types of birds; pheasant, chuckar, and hungarian partridge. Morning hunts are from 9 to 12, afternoon hunts are from 1 to 4, lunch can be provided in the lodge from 12 to 1 with groups of 8 or more. All hunts are guided with experienced guides to ensure a safe and productive hunt. If you have your own dog, you are more than welcome to use them. If you do not, we will furnish a dog. A hunting party consists of up to four people, if you have more we will put out another group in another area. We have 300 acres to hunt on; therefore, we can spread your groups out so you will not be able to see another group. Suburbans are used to transport hunters to the different hunting areas. We also process all of your harvested birds in our fully automatic cleaning facility, which the final product is vaccum packed and ready for the freezer.
