Juniata River Game Farm offers a 300-acre Shooting Preserve in operation from September through March, excluding Sundays. Each of the farms used for hunts combines a variety of cover: farm crops, briar thickets, saplings, traditional fence rows, and open-woods hunting for the hunting enthusiast.
We also have a 12-station Sporting Clays Course open year-round. The course is laid out over 20 acres of moderate terrain of fields and woods to simulate actual shooting situations. Simulated dove, grouse, duck, rabbit, pheasant, and goose hunting combined together make our course both challenging and enjoyable. The course is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00am until dark on a reservation-only basis.
In addition to the Regulated Shooting Grounds, we are also a gamebird producer; we raise and sell pheasants, chukars, and mallard ducks. Our birds are for sale to other shooting preserves, for dog trials and training, and for personal recreation. Please contact us for additional
