Helwig Hunting Services is based out of Rocksprings, Texas and has been making hunters happy for over 30 years. Edwards county has long been famous for high whitetail numbers, plentiful Rio Grande turkey, and a wide selection of exotic game.
Helwig Hunting Services is owned and operated by Bardy Helwig, with experience including a Wildlife Management degree from Texas A&M and over 30 years of working with numerous deer/exotic leases in the hill country. Each spring I broker seasonal deer leases, representing over 200,000 acres in the area. My first hand experience gained from 10 African safaris can assist anyone planning a hunt to Africa. The vast majority of hunters I guide each year are repeat clients. I prefer to guide only one or two hunters at a time, offering a quaility experience.
